I think I was sent the Boxer rather than the mid-cut, but other than the length of leg (which does have a bearing on how I use the garment) the rest is the same. I purchased the garment as Bike underwear – I've been trying to get away from typical bike shorts with the pads because the don't fit that well, nor feel that well. I tried using compression shorts but that creates it's own problems with the genitalia – they tend to get in the way of the cycling action – the Ergowear products essentially lift and put forward your genitalia and thus by genitalia don't even get close to touching the saddle, let alone the horn of the bike – up and out of the way of my biking. Now, if I can just get the proper leg length so that they don't ride up or feel as though they are…

These boxers/briefs whatever you want to call them are extremely comfortable, I bought 5 pairs in total and I wear them all day everyday for casual, for work and even to bed, they are perfect for any situation.
I've used them for a few months now and I can't recommend them enough. They are soft on the skin and the material is thin and smooth so they do not to impede movement and they do not ride or bunch up even underneath jeans. I find that I barely have to adjust myself after sitting for a long period and getting up.
I would happily buy more of these when my current ones are past it. They do not show any signs of age after a few months of washing.
Just to make people aware these are fairly skin tight which is what I want as it cuts down on chafing and the pouch holds up the trunk and adjacent boulders very, very comfortably.
If you have an active lifestyle, then I highly recommend you buy these as soon as possible.
Yes they are expensive for what they are but they are worth every penny.

I'm a long time client, wearer, and advocate of Ergowear underwear. I've bought the Max Premium brand for years, and this time when I received them, the fabric had changed. It's much lighter and flimsier; it bunches at the waistband. I won't buy the Max Premium line any more. I wish they hadn't changed it so dramatically.

After years of weight lifting and developing my physique I have finial found underwear that gives me the control I want without restricting my movement. And ergowear looks so good you should be able to wear them out in public but that would make everyone else look oddly out classed. So for me it's ergowear or commando.

Have liked this style of underwear from Ergowear for years- probably my all-time favorites from any manufacturer in relation to appearance and quality. The newer cut of these seem to have a lower waistline and are more fitted then I remember from the past, but that's fine with me. While other more and more manufacturers have come out with "pouch" styles to their lines, I believe Ergowear's Max line is far superior, in that the pouch "lifts" your package for a very comfortable & enhancing profile that many of us a looking for.

I do love the Max Premium Boxer in the Heather cotton material as it seems to handle my body perspiration when working out better or on hot days. This is the 3rd time I've ordered this product. That said, the quality of the fabric this time seems to have either aged or sat in a hot warehouse for some time as I actually had one of the pairs just pull apart from what appeared to be dry fabric.

I wish the legs were longer. I am a police officer and wear them for work. Often getting in and out of a car and the legs ride up over time. If they were longer, with the same fabric, fit and cut, I would buy more of them.
