Are taxes and duties included in my order total?
Depending on your country of residence, you may have to pay taxes, duties, and other fees to your government or authorities. Whether duties are applied also depends on a series of continuously changing factors, including (but not limited to):
- Size
- Value
- Place of entry
- Officer in charge
- And so on
Although some international eCommerce retailers allow you to pre-pay based on an estimate, this usually results in higher costs for the clients than if he pays directly to the carrier or authority. If you are unsure about your countries regulations, please get in touch with relevant local authorities before you place an order with Ergowear.
Will I be charged sales tax or VAT on my Ergowear purchase?
Our prices are exempt from sales taxes or VAT, except in the following case: Residents of Florida (US) will see their local sales tax added to their invoice. For orders from outside the US we offer a service called PASSPORT in which any applicable duties or taxes and fees are added to your shipping value and prepaid. If you choose not to use PASSPORT when you place an order:
- You acknowledge your knowledge of taxes, duties, and other related charges applicable upon arrival in your country.
- You agree to pay these charges if/when asked to do so by the contracted courier or postal service
What’s included in the shipping and handling fee?
Shipping and handling charges include delivery to the address provided and shown in your order details, subject to local or national regulations, as well as country-specific policies of the courier or postal service. Taxes, duties, or any other local fees at the destination are not included in the prepaid shipping and handling fee. By placing an order with Ergowear, you acknowledge that you know what taxes, duties, or other related charges may be applicable in your country and agree to pay if requested by the contracted courier or postal service.
My order says “shipped” but has not arrived.
Please check the online tracking information displayed in the completed orders section of your Ergowear account, or the status update email you received when the order was shipped. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
When will my pre-order items arrive?
When items are available for pre-order, you will see an estimated shipping date displayed next to that item; including a pre-ordered item means that the whole order will not be shipped until the pre-ordered item is ready.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We will normally ship the order within 1 business day, but it may sometimes take longer, depending on our payment processors’ anti-fraud policies and product availability. When one product of the order has a later shipping date, the other items will also be shipped later. Similarly, if the order includes a pre-order item, by default, the whole order will be shipped when the pre-order item becomes available.
If we cannot ship within 7 business days, you will receive an automatic status update that your order is delayed and an estimated shipping date. If this happens, please feel free to contact us if you would like to cancel the delayed item or the whole order. An estimate of the transit time to your location is given next to the shipping method during checkout and on subsequent documents. This time does not include possible delays during customs clearance at the destination (if applicable).
Do you ship internationally?
You can order Ergowear from any country where delivery service is available and legal to import products. In some locations, not all forms of payment may be accepted. In this case, or if there is an issue with the order, we will contact you directly. As of 02/08/2020, all US orders are domestically shipped from our affiliate Ergowear USA, Miami, FL.
How much do I have to pay for shipping?
Standard shipping is free for orders over US$99.00 from anywhere in the continental US or Canada; smaller orders are shipped for US$9.90. For orders from other countries the shipping value will be displayed in your cart before you check out.
My package was marked “delivered”, but I never received it.
The main reason for customer’s not receiving their order is because of some issues with the courier. If you haven’t received your package, but we have delivery confirmation from the courier, we will contact them and ask about your shipment with the tracking and or parcel number. Please contact us with your order number, and you will get a response within 24 hours in regular CST working hours.
How long does shipping take?
We normally ship within 2-7 days of having received payment confirmation. Why? Two days is the minimum because customers often contact us the day after placing an order with change requests. And sometimes, when inventories are low, the same item may be ordered simultaneously by different customers. Because we are the manufacturers, the extra couple of days gives us the time needed to replenish the stock of products.
